Gonzalo Ibáñez (n.1992). Como artista contemporáneo con base en Santiago de Chile, se ha destacado en la exploración de entornos urbanos y la representación de aspectos cotidianos. Su producción artística se caracteriza por la profundidad introspectiva que comunica, frecuentemente encapsulando la esencia de espacios vacíos o individuos alienados que aparentan una desconexión con su entorno. Además, Ibáñez utiliza la técnica de la acuarela con un enfoque realista, logrando un equilibrio entre áreas de representación figurativa y otras que mantienen una ambigüedad deliberada. Para ello, se sirve de una paleta de colores limitada, creando atmosferas que exploran el juego entre luces y sombras. En su obra, Gonzalo Ibáñez destaca la tensión entre lo cotidiano y la singularidad del entorno urbano, explorando la belleza oculta en lo subestimado, lo vacío y lo rutinario.
